Celebrant Services
It is an honour and privilege for me to work with you and your families, bringing together in either an informal or formal setting, co-creating and collaborating on a ceremony that is unique and magical.
A Ceremony that can tune in to the exact vision for you, where you can decide on the level of participation and design.
With a multitude of options and suggestions available we can create something just for you.
Testimonial
"From the moment we met Deb, we knew she was the right celebrant for us. One of the most endearing people we have ever met. She took charge with getting the ball rolling on planning the ceremony and let us have as much or as little input as we wanted. We trusted that the universe would give us ideal cloudy weather and everything would fall into place - which it did! The afternoon of our ceremony was magical and raw among the elements of nature - and filled with a lot of laughter. Perfection. I highly recommend Deb for whatever blessing or ceremony you desire." -
(Traditional Druid Wedding/Handfasting Ceremony)
Farewells
It’s a time of extra care when we plan the ceremony to say our farewells to a loved one. Special words can be shared of the memories that are personal to each member as we experience people in very unique ways. Ceremonies and memorials are performed with compassion, empathy, care and respect.
Beloved Pets
Heartstrings are pulled when our beloved pet passes over the Rainbow bridge. They give to us such unconditional love, a gift of their time spent with us.
Honour the passing with a ceremony to say “so long, we love you and see you again”.
Last Wishes
At times it can be a difficult conversation to have with a friend or family member on what they would want as a celebration of their life. Whilst all the legalities may have been taken care of, usually the bereaved are left with job of working out whats best as a farewell. Take the awkwardness out of it and let me have that conversation to record the wishes.
Tie the Knot
Joining and Weddings are a special time of commitment to each other and can include ‘Handfasting or Jumping the Broom’ which is part of an ancient form of commitment ceremony and is increasingly popular.
It is your decision if you have formal or informal, ceremony with guests or just the two of you, whatever you choose it will be tuned into your vision (please note this service is a non-civil ceremony).
Celebrating Life
This ceremony is a type of memorial service that honours loved ones that have passed.
These ceremonies are different to that of formal farewells (funerals) as time passes and you want to remember or express words that are appropriate for where you are now.
Usually held in a more relaxed setting to that of the funeral it can be performed at anytime, you don’t have to wait for an anniversary.
Time Together
Has it been a while?
Then let’s celebrate the maturity of your unity as a couple by taking all those wonderful learnings and bringing them into the present to reignite your commitment for the future.
Renewal of vows from your original marriage can also be included or a handfasting, the choice is yours.
Naming
Naming Ceremonies can be performed for all ages even though traditionally it is performed at a young age. I find that naming ceremonies are great when the child (children) are old enough to participate, this becomes something very personal to them and everyone involved as it’s customised to their characters.
Home Blessings
Moving into a new home and want to bring in all the good vibes, then a Home Blessing is just for you. I use the 4 element blessing in particular to bless the home as it feels so wholesome, but of course it can be any kind of blessing that fits in with your wants and desires.
Families Unite
There are frequently more and more families from multiple parents uniting whether it’s under the same roof or shared visits, adoption or fostering this blended family living can be a great time to celebrate coming together as extended families. It’s especially important to recognise all factors of the unity for the children that are in this new arrangement.
Yew-nique To You
There are many ceremonies to perform blessings so please don’t feel limited by the ones above, I have been asked to perform ceremony for occasions such as: Rites of Passage, Persons Retirement, New Business, Closing down of a Business to name but a few. If you got an occasion that you wish to acknowledge then give me a call.
